Each year our great volunteers coordinate Alta Vista School Council’s Family Movie Nights. This fundraiser and has grown to become a great place to meet up with other families and enjoy a night out together! Students love coming to school for this and helps them see the school as a FUN place to be!

General Information:
- Doors open at 5:30 pm and Movie starts at 6:00 pm
- Bring blankets, cushions, and even wear your PJ’s!!
- Juice, popcorn, baked goods and hot dogs for sale in limited quantities.
- Students must be supervised by an adult.
Baking or food donations welcome
Baking and other treats have become very sought after! Donations of peanut-free baking or other food items for us to sell at the canteen are always welcome! The variety every movie night is great to have. You can drop off donations at the kitchen after school or when you come to movie.
MOVIE NIGHT COORDINATOR
Movie nights bring us together to share a fun evening. It has become a tradition and students so look forward to putting on pj’s, eating hotdogs and watching a film AT SCHOOL! Not the typical thing one does at school. As a fundraiser for council, it allows us do more to help the school be an even better place to learn.
More than one person can share the role. It would be great to shadow one night with the coordinator to see how it’s run .
